In December 2014, Olive took on the biggest challenge of her working life – she left the traditional brick-and-mortar retail and fast-moving consumer goods industry and turned startup entrepreneur. Olive is a tech geek on a mission: To bring legacy brands in the health, beauty, baby and household verticals without the digital know-how and back-end fulfilment applications. From the get-go, Olive realized that there are over thousands of retail brands and merchants still operating in the offline space who want to get on board the ecommerce ecosystem and sell their products on online marketplaces. Leveraging on her hands-on experience with some of the world’s largest consumer brands and health and beauty retailers, Olive knows how exactly how to transform traditional store models to online shop-in-shop channels. At two years in operation,  has enabled over 200 brands and merchants sell their products across more than eight shopping platforms and seen total traffic and revenue volume scale by more than 100 per cent year-on-year since 2016. Transactions have spiked from 10 a day to just over 1,000 in one year, and plans are afoot to expand to the rest of Southeast Asia with Malaysia as the next stop in the coming months.
